We stayed at a campsite a short distance from the beach, but almost everything was within walking distance from our's
or Nancy's camp site

The geology of the Maine coastline is very interesting. Some granitic rocks with associated contact zones produced
mica schist with garnets and tourmaline, marble veins and interesting folded kneiss.

Of course, no trip to Maine is complete without a trip to the country to pick up blueberries. We found blueberries
and steamer clams here.
